Hi! My name is Kirah. I've been babysitting since I was in junior high. I've also volunteered in various church nurseries and the occasional VBS program. In addition, growing up I had younger siblings I helped care for when needed. In college, I volunteered at an after-school program with The Boys and Girls Club of America. Furthermore, I worked as a center substitute/floater at a local Head Start preschool for several months. I also spent a summer babysitting every weekday for a family with 2 children, ages 5 and 7. Additionally, I've done a lot of babysitting when parents have date nights or weekend plans. I enjoy spending time with children and finding ways to help them learn and grow while having fun in the process. I like to do hands-on activities such as arts and crafts, simple baking/cooking projects, playing outside, going to the park/playground, playing games, reading books together, helping with homework, etc. I don't want to be the boring babysitter who simply stands by and supervises as children find ways to keep themselves entertained. I aim to be present with your children while they are in my care. Availability: Babysitting is a side job for me, as I do work a full-time job. However, I have a flexible schedule in the evenings and on weekends. Services: I am comfortable providing childcare for children between the ages of 1-11. I have the most experience with children ages 5-11. I can do meal prep and clean-up and bedtime routines in addition to normal activities. If needed, I am also comfortable picking your child up from school. I have a valid driver's license and my own transportation.
