Hi, are you looking for a nanny? My name is Brooke Swanson, I am a 20-year-old sophomore at the University of Minnesota Duluth and I am looking for a full-time nanny job this summer! This previous summer, I was a full-time nanny for two children ages 1.5 and 3, however, the family moved and I would no longer be able to commute. Some of our favorite activities included going to the park, drawing with chalk, creating obstacle courses, and going to the movies! In addition to my experience as a nanny, I have 7 years of babysitting experience, which has given me a solid foundation in caring for children of ages 1-13 and up to 4 kids at a time. I’ve often been called the “crafty nanny” due to my love of creative activities and art. In high school, I was involved in 4-H and have experience with art projects, sewing, various crafts, etc. I also love being active, outside of my time at work and school you can find me in the gym, going on long walks, and practicing yoga. I am also the nanny who enjoys taking kids to the park, making obstacle courses in the backyard, and riding scooters in the driveway. Whether it's through arts and crafts, coloring, or other imaginative activities, I love to find ways to show children's creative nature! I am an extremely reliable person and pride myself on my integrity. I have a reliable car, and I've never been involved in any accidents, so you can trust that I will prioritize the safety of your children while transporting them. I have received adequate training in CPR and would be confident to perform in the event of an emergency. Although I am not certified, I would interested in receiving it if needed. However, I am certified in Basic First Aid. I also have experience with working with children with special health care, including administering medication and keeping an extra special eye on health concerns. I am also comfortable with pets, so if you have any furry family members, that's not a problem. I currently have a dog named Ted and a rabbit named Peter but have lots of experience with animals of all kinds. Based on my college schedule, I am available from May 6 to August 16 whenever you need me, and am flexible with the start and end dates. If you need an extra date night, I’ll be there!
