Hi, I am a fun loving person, I love being outdoors and teaching through experiences. I have many outdoor sport certifications including Skiing, Swimming, Sailing, Rock Climbing, Biking and Canoeing. I have my full license (Ontario G class) I have a current 80 hour first aid course (wfr) and used to hold my life guard certification (NLS) but it has expired as I have not worked at a pool in the last 2 years,I do still have the swimming skills to do a rescue if needed and i have a current Wilderness waterfront safety. I love teaching all these sports and have taught all of these for at least one season. I have taught kids from 8 months to adults. I love teaching kids. I have babysat in the past for many families in the past. The past two summers I have worked with the Tim Horton's Children's foundation as a camp counselor. Where I was responsible for children 24 hours a day for 12 days at a time. This involved everything from playing game to teaching canoeing to making sure they ate and stayed hydrated. Some things I look for in a baby sitting job are a kid that wants to play outside, go to the park, learn new things like biking, hiking and swimming, Spend time reading and maybe some baking..... these sound like things you would like for your kid please feel free to contact me.
