Sitter in Redmond, Washington

Hi everyone!! I am a 22-year old college student at Bellevue College. I'm working on finishing up my BS in Psychology. When I was younger all I wanted was a younger sister. I would ask my mom and make my younger cousins or friends pretend to be my sister in games but I was set on the real thing. Finally, my sister was born when I was 8. I worked a lot with my grandma and younger cousins so by the time my sisrer was born I felt ready to take care of her. I wish my current self could've warned my 8 year old self that having a younger sibling wasn't all cute dresses and ribbon. Having a younger sister is getting your favorite books ripped to shreds, no longer being able to eat animal crackers because "they're for the baby" and angrily changing the channel from Arthur to Dora. Havihg a younger sister is playing the same game another time and having to explain laughing so hard your sides hurt and tears are running down your face because you finally successfully pranked Mom. so I've gotten to see her grow for her whole life. I have taught Sunday School, worked in a couple different nursery settings and of course babysat for friends, neighbors and family members. I love children of all ages, and I am excited to find a family to work with!
