Hi! My name is Monique and I am happy to "meet" you. I am looking for a full-part time position as a nanny. I have 15 years experience working with children, both typical developing as well as special needs. I am especially familiar and comfortable with children with autism. I am currently in school to earn my BA in Special & General Education. During the school year I usually work as a one-on-one behavior counselor with an elementary student, but I have stepped down from this position due to the need to stay closer to home and focus on school. This summer I was the Assistant Director for Colonial Heights Summer Camp. I oversaw the daily activities, health and welfare, and functions of 150 children and over 20 staff. I offer age appropriate educational activities, reading, crafts, and much more. I enjoy hiking, outdoors, reading, crafts, learning random new information, and teaching. I am comfortable with animals, willing to run errands and do housekeeping, I have a clean driving & criminal record & I am CPR & First Aide Certified. I look forward to talking with you!
