Rates: Full-time and Part-time rates as well as multiple child discounts! Home Size: Approximately 1000 Sq. Ft. area for children to play indoors and more outside as well. Nutritious Snacks and Meals are provided. Sample of Our Day 8:00 - Breakfast 8:30 - Free Play (Social Activities) 10:00 - Snack 10:30 - Activity Time (Fine Motor and/or Cognitive Activities) 11:00 - Outside Play (Large Motor Activities) 11:30 - Lunch 12:00 - Group Storytime 12:30 - Nap/Quiet Time 3:00 - Snack 3:30 - Outside Activities 4:30 - Free Play I believe in a structured yet flexible schedule. Routine is important to children, however, we do save room for spontaneous activities, walks and occasional field trips (with parent permission of course)! Qualifications My name is Alexis and I have two beautiful children of my own. I have a daughter turning 2 in September and a 5 year old boy who is about to start Kindergarten in the fall! I have always had a love for children, even before I had my own. I have taken 3 years of Child Development courses where I learned the fundamentals of caring for children and nurturing their ever-growing curiosity and eagerness for knowledge. It is at the Child Development center that I learned the importance of cognitive, social, fine and gross motor development and how to exercise these "muscles" of little ones. Beyond textbook, our grades were based on planning full days of activities for the toddlers and preschoolers. I was responsible for planning a structured schedule full of fun and learning as well as healthy snacks and meals for each age group. These Child Development course gave me the foundation I have today with mine and others kids. Children are our future! We must all create a warm, loving and happy environment for them to grow. I look forward to playing a small role in the lives of these little ones in hopes that they will become happy, healthy, responsible adults.
