At the age of 8 years old my mother had my little sister and I have helped her with care ever since. I have also babysat neighborhood children of all ages, and while in high school I studied abroad in Finland, where two of my families had younger kids I would often watch. I now work as an early literacy tutor at Beyer Elementary School for children grade K-3, and I am a program assistant at a Boys and Girl's Club working with children grades K-8. I absolutely love working with kids and am so glad to have the opportunities to enrich their lives. With that being said, I am looking to move on from after school care and tutoring to professional child care. Childcare is a true passion of mine and I couldn't imagine working in any other field of work.
