Hi there my name is Ashley. I am a child care provider living in Lexington-Fayette who is well trained and want to help you in any way possible. I speak both spanish and English fluently. I have a B.A. foreign language and economics. I have a strong background when it comes to working with children teaching them Spanish as well as being a caretaker to them. I have tutored children ages 1 to 22 years old while juggling a full time job as well. I am certified in first Aid and CPR. Caring for others is something that brings me so much joy as I have my own son who is 5 as well! I started teaching him Spanish at the age of 1. He is now 5 years old and fluent in Spanish. I also worked at a child care facility for a year and absolutely loved it. I taught 3 and 4 year olds. Each day I had lesson plans made up for my class, arranged center time,fun games, prepared food for my class of 10 and made sure every child was down for a nap at the same time each day as I am a firm believer in consistency and planning. Providing consistent routine along with showing. Compassion to a child is so vital to their future life and most importantly it sets children up for a successful future.
