Nice to meet you! My name is Amoy. I'm a child care provider who is dedicated and look forward to helping your family. I have been a caregiver since I was a teenager. I started out babysitting my siblings and other family members. By the age of 17, I was babysitting the neighbor's children as well as other members of the community children. In total, I've been a caregiver for about 11 years with over six years of professional childcare experience. I have worked with children ranging from ages 3 through 12. In addition to being a babysitter, I've been tutoring a group of children age 9 through 14 for the past 3 years. I am currently pursuing a bachelors degree in childhood education and psychology at Hunter College. I currently work as a Student Teacher at the Ella Baker School in New York, NY. I am comfortable preparing meals, assisting with school work, light housecleaning, organizing and scheduling play activities and caring for children in ways such as feeding, bathing, and dressing them. I am very passionate about children and I take pride in playing a role in their growth and development. This is one of the many reasons why I am dedicating my life to working with children. I believe children are a blessing and should be nurtured and taught in ways that will prepare them to be the best version of themselves, both as children, and as adults.
