Hello, my name is Erin Padilla. I have recently taken an early retirement from The Orange County Department of Education as a Para-educator working with special needs children. I worked at the County for 15 years. I am seeking a part-time Nanny position in the Costa Mesa, Newport Beach area. I have two grown sons and I live in East Side Costa Mesa and have lived in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area for over twenty years.
In 2012 I was lay-off with the County and I became the Nanny for twin infant boys (Nate & Zack) I was with them for a year when the County rescinded my lay-off and I went back to the County.
I have worked with children with Autism, Down Syndrome, hearing impaired, medically fragile and behaviors. My passion is working with children and want to continue working with children.
I have had intensive training through the County and have taken classes at OCC in Early Childhood Development and Golden West College for Signing. I am CPR certified.

I have been friends with Erin P for over 20 years. I cannot articulate what an important person she is to me and to my whole family. My children know that if they ever have a problem and cannot reach me, they should call Erin. She is capable of handling any situation.
Erin is the type of person that remains calm in challenging situations and is able to convey to others that there is no need for worry. She will sort out any problems and always does. She is kind and loving and so generous with her time. Always willing to lend a hand or be there emotionally.
She has cared for Special Needs children for the county and is incredibly hardworking. In addition, she took on the extra job of helping the students stay calm during bus rides to and from school. Children trust Erin and listen to what she says. Her ability to parent, soothe and relate to kids is uncanny. She is especially magical with babies. They love her.
I would give Erin the highest recommendation possible. She would be a asset to any family or organization and they would be lucky to have Erin in their lives.
