Sitter in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Hi, I'm Savannah! I'm a sitter looking for a full time position and am not opposed to additional hours if/when necessary. My base rate is $30.00/hour. I have been in the childcare field for over 10 years and a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for 5 of those years. There’s yet to be a moment that I’m not thankful for what I’m able to do. As can be assumed, I love working with children of all ages. I have experience with children as young as 2 weeks and as old as 16 years, and my background as a caregiver has given me experience with dozens of different special needs children and adults as well. I am high energy and attentive with a knack for organization and good communication. I love making up games, playing pretend, telling stories, running around outside, teaching how to wash a car, and laughing at knock-knock jokes. I also have a passion for teaching and have experience assisting with homeschooling/adapting curriculum. I truly do value each and every family I get the opportunity to work with and always believe in a way to develop a plan and establish a rhythm that works for everyone involved. Consistency, reliability, and planning are things we all benefit from—especially kids—and it means more time to have fun :) Additionally I have my degree in massage therapy, am working towards fluency in Spanish, and enjoy sewing, cooking, and whatever crafts I can get my hands on in my free time.
