Sitter in Williamsburg, Virginia

I am a stay-at-home mama about to move from Texas to Williamsburg, VA for my husband's Army civilian job. I am currently getting my Master's degree in Strategic Communication from American University online. My background is in communication. I would love to care for another child in addition to my own, a one-year-old firecracker named Jack. I am looking to nanny out of my own home. My hours might be pretty flexible; it depends on your needs and work schedule. I love children and I miss being able to work and contribute to the family income, so being a nanny again would be great--plus I'm sure Jack wouldn't mind having someone to play with! I prefer to watch a baby 6 months of age and on, up to three or four years old. I have experience as a nanny of pre-teens from 2003-200... before I joined the Army, a babysitter of my twin boy-and-girl niece and nephew (since they were born), and I babysat often as a kid and teenager. We are moving into a spacious, carpeted home with a playroom and a great big backyard. We have 2 rambunctious terriers that are great with kids. The home will be set up by October 1, so let me know if you're interested in discussing it and I will invite you over for dinner to meet my family, get a feel for the home, and talk about our options. Payment and hours are negotiable. Can provide background check, references, work history, resume, CPR and first aid certification, etc. My philosophy: Christian love, lots of activity, fair and gentle discipline (I would treat yours EXACTLY as my own), healthy eating, and BE A KID!
