I started babysitting at the age of 11, and watched children ranging from ages 0-8. As my age grew, so did the age range of children I gained experience caring for. For a few years in high school, I drifted from babysitting. During my senior year of high school, I began as a part-time nanny for a single mother, watching her newborn daughter until I moved to New Orleans for college. I was a semester into college when the passion to be a full-time nanny struck, and I realized how much experience I had garnered over my adolescence throughout my teenage years, and remembered my natural affinity towards the profession. So I dove right in and gained even more experience, this time as a full-time nanny for a New Orleans family. I was assigned to them through an agency I joined in New Orleans called Nurturing Nannies. Through this agency, I have also gain vast experience doing cover work for other nannies in the event that they are unable to work and need someone to fill in for them for a period of time. My ability to jump in to another nanny's place and create the same connective, safe, and loving environment in such a timely manner is what sets me apart from the rest. I have so much passion for nannying, and after years of hard work gaining experience and references, I believe the talent I have cultivated is enough to propel me to a higher position now.
