Greetings! My name is Shawna Pomeroy. I am military academy graduate. 19 years old. I have abundant amount of experience with children. From Newborn - Pre-Teen. I also have a lot of experience working with children with behavioral issues as well as children with mental/physical limitations. I believe i stand out a little bit more then others due to the fact I'm young but I have just as much experience as everyone else in this field. My interaction with children isn't coming over to babysit and staying on my phone the whole time like some younger babysitters. I love to be interactive and play with them, Builds a good relationship that makes them excited for there babysitter to come over which is how it should be! Seeing how I'am a graduate of a military academy respect is something I value very highly.. I have no problem being a fun babysitter but at the same time im not scared to lay down the rules. Past families i have babysit for we'd play games and have fun all day whenever they tried to pull something fast on me or act a different way from the start I made them know I do not deal with any belligerence. Never had no problems with lack of respect after that bond is created.
