Hi! My name is Jillian Jendra. I am going to be a junior at ISU (20 years old). My major is Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I absolutely love my major and kids! All last summer I took care of my cousin's kids who were 2 and 4 at the time. I've watched them previously when they were of younger ages and still continue to watch them from time to time when I am home. I am already CPR certified. I currently work twice a week at Kumon Learning Center in Bloomington where I work one-on-one with children of various ages ranging from preschool-2nd grade. We mainly focus on strengthening and mastering basic reading and math skills. I only work at Kumon on Mondays and Thursdays from 3-7:30 and I am staying at school for the summer so I have flexible availability. I would be available most weekends.
