I'm an
Agency / Company
Hey my name is Jackie. I love caring for children and want to help your family any way I can. Hope to talk to you soon if you are interested. Please contact me at: 813 335 ... (perfer text) or at [email protected] I am dueled enrolled at PHSC. I have mainly studied literature in the forms of English and Composition one and two. We improved our writing skills as well as our public speaking skills. We also improved our grammar skills. In these classes, we were required to write 100 words a day on various topics. We also had to write papers and essays on a variety of topics. I have attended Land O Lakes high school for almost four years. I have been in both the marching and concert band throughout high school as well as a member of FCA. In fact, in band, I also was selected to be the head music librarian for the band and chorus music library. I have been a member of UNICEF, Legacy and Model UN for about three years now and I have been a member of Relay for Life, Days for Girls, Lemon Club, FDC, Psychology Club, USLG, Priceless Youth Movement and HOSA for about two years. I also was elected as secretary of UNICEF and the vice president of the Priceless Youth Movement. I have been a Pasco Eschool student since the seventh grade. The first class I took was in a Spanish class. In total, I have taken three years of Spanish both online and in the traditional classroom and have a well-adjusted understanding of the language and its cultural variations in the definitions of words and pretenses. I have also gone on to take many other courses through FLVS and Pasco eschool such as but not limited to Algebra two honors, Astronomy honors, the Holocaust History and so on. I am a person who loves writing and can help get the job done. I have a flexible schedule and work well with others. I took English and Composition one and two and am taking World Cinema and Intro to Short Fiction this year as well as possibly public speaking. In my school's FCA club last year I had to help make a slide for the school slideshow to help promote our club. I was able to design it in a way that was appealing to students as well as make sure to get the purpose of the club across to help attract more members. In my school's UNICEF club we worked together on a project focused around Earth Day and had to research facts and write them into an organized paper to later put them on a poster. We also earlier in the year for Trick or Treat for UNICEF had to make posters to advertise for that fundraiser. I was also elected as secretary for UNICEF for the 2018-201... school year. In my school's model UN, I attended FSHMUN 39. I had to write a position paper by myself as well as a resolution paper with others in the UN Women as I represented the Republic of India. Also for Psychology club this year I had to help make a depression awareness board. I made three of the posters highlighting important facts and tips on suicidal thoughts and depression. Also in my school's Days For Girls, I helped speak at a public awareness event at my community's local library. We were raising awareness about the importance of educating girls in third world countries. In my Priceless Youth Movement Club, I was in charge of a donations box for a drive we were doing for a human trafficking shelter for teenage girls. I was in charge of one box. I had to check on it every two days and collect any donations put in there. We also had to help out our the county's anti-human trafficking organization at an event called Light Up the Night. We had to help pass out fliers and talk to people about human trafficking in the Tampa Bay area. I was elected to be vice president of the Priceless Youth Movement this year. In my Relay for Life team at my school, we had to organize car washes and restaurant fundraisers in which I played a big role in helping put them together and promoting them. Also, we had to work together to design our own tent for the relay for life event within the scope of the theme of movies in which we choose Star Wars. We had to plan out and put together the tent and the resources and food we would sell. We also had to help design t-shirts and sell them to our club members as well. In my FDC club we often in our meetings would have to talk about issues going on in the world today such as politics and religion which also shows my wide variety of skills when it comes to talking and reporting on different issues as well as working with a larger group of people. In USLG our club had to work together to help us prep for the LSAT test and also work on the mock trial we were going to do. Although we did not get the chance to perform for the entire school we still worked very hard and tried to get into the mode of the characters we were performing as. I was a police officer in a case about a stolen car. I also sometimes had to be the judge for one of our mock rehearsals. This shows how I am willing to take on more roles than just the standard role I am given if need be. I was also in HOSA this year. My event was medical assisting. I made it to regionals because I passed the computer-based test for my event. I practiced and worked hard in order to achieve this and made sure I was well prepared for the HOSA event at regionals. I also helped at the car wash we hosted in order to raise funds for our club members who made states to be able to afford their bus and hotel fees. Although I did not make states I still wanted to help raise funds. I also was a member of my school's Legacy club. We studied through the Word Of Life Bible Study together. Faith and community are something very important to me as well as shown by this. I also am a good news club reader. This means for the first Saturday of every month I go to the department of families and services building in my community and watch kids and read with them for a couple of hours while their parents receive foster care training. I believe children should have a strong sense of imagination and reading skills as this will help them be able to become well-adjusted students in school and also help them to become creative and productive members of society. I also do One Day with my church which is basically every few months our church does a day where you can pick from a list of service projects in the community. I always clean up schools for this. I also was a camp counselor for girls who had just completed the eighth grade at my church's summer camp. I was able to connect with the girls, help them make friends and talk with them and give them someone to talk to as well as help them work through their problems. I was a nanny for a family with two children. They were both girls and one was two and the other turned four while I was their nanny. I had to take them to the pool for swim lessons and watch them there. I also prepared meals for them and bathed them. I also did the dishes and helped clean up around the house. I also helped prepare for the older ones four-year-old birthday party and watch over it as well. I also helped put them to bed and read to them and colored with them. I also went to Clearwater to watch them at their hotel while their parents went out to dinner. I watched them at the pool and fed them as well. I am a part-time babysitter for a family with two dogs, sometimes three if the Grandma's dog is there and three children. A four-year-old boy, a two-year-old girl, and an infant girl. I watch them once a week for a couple of hours while their mother runs errands or does her running club. I watch them, play with them and get them snacks when they get hungry. I also am an occasional babysitter for multiple families as well whenever they need me. I did not count that as a stable job though as they are extra jobs.
