Sitter in Elizabeth, Pennsylvania

Children are a huge part of my life. I have decided to dedicate my life to children and the betterment of education, and I feel there is no better place to start than in the home while tending to the child. I love every opportunity I have to work with children and hope to continue that. I have been babysitting outside of my home since I was 15 years old. I am capable of handling all ages from birth to teens. I still frequently babysit for friends of the family, the youngest child being 6 weeks old. I am trained in CPR and first aid and posses valid child abuse, state police, and FBI clearances. I hold a BS in Elementary Education with a PA K-6 certification along with a BA of Liberal Studies from Cal U of PA 2012. I have been teaching full day Kindergarten since 2012 at a small private school in the West Mifflin area. Through my time in the classroom I have had experience working with ESL students as well as students with various learning disabilities. I had the opportunity to attend a Dyslexia training seminar in 2015 to better help one of my students reach their learning goals. I am very dedicated to ensuring children have the best possible experience with a nanny or sitter because it is very stressful when their guardians aren't home. I enjoy all sorts of activities and outings, arts and crafts, board games, video games (I am terrible at them!), and tutoring activities.
