Hello! My name is Heather. Currently I reside in Nova Scotia where I work at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre as a Residential Rehabilitation Worker(RRW). I work with persons with varying physical/mental disabilities along with behavioral issues(aged from approx 20-80 years old). I will have been there a year this upcoming October, however, have previous work experience at Canada Post (dec 2015 to June 2018), approximately 8 years as a live in nanny, 2 years in security, 2 years volunteering at a home for the elderly followed by about 2 years as a PCW(personal care worker) at the same facility and 20 years in childcare, as well as a few other jobs. I have 2 children, 1 of whom has anxiety and the other who has ADHD. My husband, children and I are looking to move to Calgary by the beginning of October and hope to have employment lined up so we can start right away. My husband will also be seeking work. He has worked at the same facility as myself since June 2012 on a high behaviors unit. He has an education background in Educational Support.
