Hello! I am looking to babysit. I am a certifiied teacher and love spending time with children. I have seven years experience working as a camp counselor and am very patient and nurturing. I have experience babysitting for a family with a five month old, a four year old, and a seven year old. I absolutely loved what I did each day and can't think of a better way to spend my day. If you are looking for someone to watch your child or children during the day I am available. I have a very easy going nature about myself and just love kids! I'm also certified in reading Birth-Grade 12 and I love to sing songs and chant rhymes that promote reading & of course read books. I am an ideal person to supervise homework because of my experience as a teacher and often serve as a one-to-one tutor for those extra tricky questions and hard to do work problems in math. My experience working at a preschool for young children with autism has shown me that patience and consistency are key elements to working with any child. I am a hands-on type of babysitter, meaning that I don't sit the kids in front of the TV all day but actively engage with them. I like to play games, do arts & crafts, read, play sports, etc. I also wouldn't mind doing light housework or laundry.
