My name is Brian Raftery, and I am 28 years old. I have a child who is 3 and a half years old. He is quite a joy, see for yourself! In 2016, I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). I graduated with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, which is a type of behavior therapy for children with special needs, such as children with Autism, ADHD, and other related disabilities. Recently, in November of 2017, I earned my national license to independently practice this type of therapy. This license gives me the right to call myself a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I have worked for several different organizations that help children of these populations. Additionally, I have been around all kinds of children my whole life, as my mother ran her own in-home daycare while I was growing up, as well as my 2 older sisters having 5 children combined while I was in high school. There are now 12 children combined with all five of my siblings! Right now, I am in between jobs until Mid-May or early June. I would like to help a local family who is in need of a babysitter, since kids are clearly my niche. I would prefer to bring my child a long, since he is very fun for other children to play with, but understand if this is not something you are interested in.
