Hi, my name is Elisa and I am a 16 year-old student. I am pursuing my High School and Associate's Degrees at Tacoma Community College. I am part of the varsity Cheer Team at Gig Harbor high school. For the last 7 years, I had the opportunity to shadow educators a prestigious Children’s Center in the Silicon Valley. During this, I realized how much I love to spend time with young children. At age 13, I earned the American Red Cross certificate for child care and started to work with families and their children. I have cared for children ages 0-10 in different settings, including siblings and mixed-age group care at private events. I always received positive feedback from the parents, but the best reward is making a connection with the child. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and reading.
