Hi parents, my name is Ellona. I grew up in the small island of Grenada. I was the last of my parent's kids and after babysitting my little nieces and nephews I knew that I have a special bond and passion for kids. I have been a nanny for 4 years. I have worked with infants, toddlers, and school age kids. It puts a big smile on my face when I see the difference I can make as a nanny. I can say for me, some of the best times as a nanny is being able to interact, play and be creative with kids, encouraging children to learn, grow, and express themselves, creating a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment, help them with their development while they grow, do the things they find fun, whether that's playing games, reading, being outside or just using their imagination. I am a dependable, warm, caring and very patient person. I give baths, prepare healthy snacks and meals, organize trips, arrange play time, do kids laundry and make sure safety plays a big part in the way I think. Accomplishment- Over the past 4 years i have been giving my love,Time and energy to children,not only i enjoy this job field but all of my little one's i care for in the past and now, always love the person i am, because my patience with them is unique and the love is real.I treat every child as if was my own give 100% of my attention on them and their well being.Many time parents will applaud me on my good job have complemented me for my responsible, mature, and professional way of caring for their young children. In addition to two full-time nanny positions, I have worked as a part-time babysitter for several families during my high school days. This experience and the fact that I had two younger siblings to care and cook for have helped me develop exceptional child caring skills. I love children and enjoy their company immensely and find nothing is more rewarding than taking care of them. I believe in creating a positive, happy environment for children, one in which they feel protected and can thrive. I have good organizational and communication skills, which I believe are among the most important skills for a nanny.
