Dear Parent, I am from a large family of eight, the fourth oldest. I babysat for my younger siblings/infants when asked, for neighbors children/infants, for children of traveling parents at the Bellvue Hotel, and the Franklin Hotel in Philadelphia. There were times when the parent(s) would ask me to take their children sightseeing in Philadelphia and would compensate me for the fees involved. I took their children to see the Liberty Bell, Zoo, Children's Hands on Museum, Horse drawn carriage rides and more. Some of the children were handicapped and just needed to sit with someone while their parent went to their business related meetings. I was never uncomfortable in any babysitting position. I raised three of my own children and am now a grandparent. My children live in other states. One lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan; one in Hawaii, and one in Southern Indiana. I have 6 grandchildren that I see infrequently. I love children and babysitting for a child is something that I would enjoy doing very much! I hope you will consider me to care for your child or children. You will not be disappointed. I have never had any children dislike me.
