Greetings, my name is Kathryn Thomas and I currently reside in the Des Plaines, IL area. I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education. I prefer working in a home environment where I feel that I am able to give children daily one on one interactions to encourage letter and word identification, disciplining by use of the positive reinforcement method. Proper speech is developed through storytelling and reading together daily. Coming from an Early Childhood classroom, I plan on continuously creating and implementing a variety of hands on educational activities on a daily basis for the children that are in my care.
