Hello! Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Alisa Berger and I have been teaching since 2001 and most recently, was the Education Director of Diki Daycare Center from 2014 until 2020. I completed my MAT in Elementary Education from Queens College, hold both NYS and Florida Professional Public School Teacher’s Licenses. Additionally, I’ve earned a B.A. in English from Queens College and an A.A. in Early Childhood Education from LaGuardia CC. I have had the pleasure of teaching in grades 1-6, daycare 12-36 months, and preschool 3-5 years of age. I LOVE what I do and believe teaching is a rewarding and precious trust and calling to connect and serve my community. I am always looking to learn, grow, and collaborate with others to inspire both students and colleagues to always reach their best potentials. I truly believe learning should always be positive, evolving, and as fun as possible! Additionally, I have coached public speaking and science fairs through all ages. My mission in life is to support and inspire everyone to reach their best potentials, which starts with our youngest students and the experiences and relationships they form.
