My name is Desiree Phillips and I have about 20 years experience in working with children in various capacities. I have been a preschool teacher for a total of eight years with Head Start. I was a Family Service Worker for the Division of Children and Family Services for four years. I was an advocate at a domestic violence shelter for women and children and the children's support group facilitator for a year. I worked at various daycares while in college. I cared for a 5 year old boy with hypertonia and coordinated with his various therapists in his care. I was no longer needed when he was accepted into a developmental preschool.
