Sitter in Mount Vernon, Washington

I worked in ECE for six years and nannied for two years. In that time I worked extensively with all age groups ranging from birth-12 y/o, with a focus on preschool (2.5-4 years). I am currently back in a classroom setting running a before/after school program (ages 5-12). I have my Infant & Child CPR/first aid certification and have taken many ECE relevant courses, including infant sleep safety. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) and would be more than happy to introduce your child(ren) to a second language! I'm big on playing outdoors and would love to explore our beautiful local parks/playgrounds with the children in my care! Trips to the library or children's museum are also always fun! I am also a huge proponent of arts & crafts and helping children express their creativity through both structured and free art activities. I'm an animal lover (I have a dog and a cat myself!) so I'd be more than comfortable around any pets you may have! Hours are somewhat flexible, but I am looking for as close to FT hours as possible.
