Hello! My name is Rachael Kurtz and I am interested in being your nanny. I come from a larger family, growing up with 3 sisters. Growing up during my childhood, my mom ran her own day care which I attended. During those years, I had experiences in watching how to raise and treat young children. I also began volunteering for an after school program where I helped prepare Hispanics who were entering kindergarten. I volunteered at a local church with a Latino summer camp. We made crafts, played games, practiced our large and small motor skills, reading and writing and field trips. Currently my mom, and 3 sisters are nannies. I have helped out with my mom or got to go to work with her for the day and get to know the kids. I am very familiar with child care and the experiences necessary. I also took a baby-sitting class in grade school and have babysat for many different families. I would like to nanny because I have many qualities, experiences and dedication with children. I really enjoy being able to be spend time with children and watch them grow. I am very familiar with the responsibilities, love and patience when being a nanny. In 2008 I graduated from Brown College with my Associates in Radio Broadcasting and in 2012 I graduated from with a degree in Mass Communication. In 2008 I was a nanny for 3 children (ages 5, 5, and 7) and also a PT nanny for 3 young boys (ages 2, 6, and 6) and a nursery director every Sunday at a local church (ages newborn-4/5). I am very creative and love doing arts and crafts, music and enjoying the sunshine. I was once a girl scout myself, have babysat multiple times and am involved with volunteer work. I play almost every sport including tennis, softball, dance, floor hockey, and soccer. I love the outdoors! I've also worked full-time at an in-home daycare where I was mainly responsible for 7 young children (lunch, diapers, nap time, organizing play time, story and crafts, potty training, sign language) (ages newborn-4/5) I am responsible, organized, caring and outgoing. I want to become a nanny because I like to have have fun and being around kids is a great opportunity! Being a nanny is a very rewarding, exciting job! Currently I nanny for two families. A one year old girl M, W, F and a one year girl T, TH. Both families are enrolling their girls into school and I will be open for hire starting March 18.
