Dear Family, My interest as a Nanny position with your family. This year, I have been working as Home Director with kids aged 1 to 3, where I have had to lead them in different activities from Spanish classes to Art craft projects. I have worked as an elementary and preschool teacher since 2013 having excellent results in accordance to patience, attentiveness, the ability to use positive language in every situation, and the experience at solving sudden children’s situations. In addition, I was working in an International School in Toronto as Student Guidance Counselor and Receptionist. Moreover, I have worked as Au Pair in a two-year program with Cultural Care in the United States of America with an American family in Washington D.C. from 2014 to 2016, where I achieved excellent results at fulfilling more than the family’s expectations. I am interested in your family to apply my cares and skills through my attitude of working under pressure, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle unexpected situations, besides to support the kids’ needs. As a Home Director, some of my duties have been supporting kids potty time (toilet-diapering), preparing meals (breakfast, snacks, and lunch), feeding them, spending time outdoors, leading games, stretching-Yoga, Spanish classes, crafts, and free role play times. Besides, recording their academic-social development, daily activities, and their needs with the companies’ app where parents are able to see their kids’ processes. In addition, as a teacher and Au Pair experience, I was involved into teaching languages (Spanish, English and French); also, to solve sudden situations in a classroom, around the school building, and in meetings with parents/coworkers. On the other hand as Au Pair, I had to be in charge of the meal/snack preparation for children, their transportation (library, pick up/drop off school, parks, etc.), washed and folded laundry for them, helped to ensure that kids’ rooms stayed clean, supported them in the morning routine, engaged them in fun-safe games, and activities, furthermore to help kids with their homework, and helped them get ready for bed. I always had empathy in every issue parents were requesting from the school or as Au Pair; moreover no matter the situation I always stayed calm to solve any issue with the best attitude and love.
