Hello, my name is Litzy Cortez and I am 18 years old. I am a high school senior that will be graduating this June to then head over to UC Riverside in September live in Sunnyvale. I speak both English and Spanish. I am the second oldest, so I definitely have experience by helping my mother out with my two younger sisters. My sister headed off to college for 5 years, so I took on the role of caring of them. Besides helping my mother out, I am actively involved in helping students from the same community that I grew up in. I have volunteered over the summer in a Youth Club program for K-5 students. I am also a mentor to a sweet 7th grade student. I am also a tutor that helps middle school students improve academically. I am currently on the search for a temporary job.
