Who I Am: Hey my name is Laura. I am hoping to find a caretaker work opportunity in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I'm hoping to contribute my skill as a caretaker. Flexible scheduling for clients. Description of Skills: Hello families and thank you for looking at my page. I have been a caregiver for many years and have watched children of ALL ages so I can handle any situation that might come up. I like to help prepare meals and snacks for children as well as keeping their areas of play and sleep tidy and help keeping up with their laundry. I make sure the kids feel loved and happy and that they are learning what they should each and every day. I keep them active by playing outside and keep their imagination going inside with creative imagination, arts and crafts, lots of reading, puzzles and play time. I really do love my job and helping children become the best they can be, and also watching them become great little people who get excited to learn new things! It’s heart warming. At this current uncertain time, the family I’m looking for should be taking COVID very seriously as I have been with social distancing, cleaning, sanitizing and wearing masks when out shopping for groceries and personal items. I need to keep safe for myself as well as my families health. I will also be wearing a mask while I’m at work until COVID is no longer here. I do have transportation to and from work, but with this Pandemic happening, I will not be doing any extra driving or taking children out and about like I previously had. I live with family who are at high risk with health conditions, so I have to do what’s best for myself and my family first. I will however keep them safe and happy inside the house and playing outside. With the nice weather here, we can always have a picnic outside and play!
