My name is Sarah and I'm a 56-year-old professional child care provider. I have an art degree and also took early childhood development courses. I also teach your child baby sign language so that you may communicate with your child much sooner than expected. One of my clients at seven months old was signing to his parents that he was hungry or wanted milk. Another 10 month old client communicated to her parents to change her diaper. This particular client was told by her doctor, that at 2 1/2 years old she has the vocabulary of a 5 year old due in large part to her knowledge of baby sign language. I have also been an art docent in the San Juan unified school district for 11 years. At one school, I not only initiated the only art source at that school, funded that art club for four years, and also coordinated all the curriculum which later lead to a full-time art teacher being put on staff. I also was a religious educator for seven years at my church and I'm also currently head of hospitality at my church since 2009. My husband is president of the Orangevale chamber of commerce, my son has been honorary Junior Mayor of Orangevale for two terms as well as participating in three ministries at our church, and my daughter is in four ministries at our church. Our family is deeply connected in our community. I mention this because I work from my home so that you are aware you not only receive my services but, a team of people aiding as well.
