Hello! My name is Mar, and I’m 16 with four years of formal childcare experience and 11 years of experience in helping to raise my sibling. I am comfortable working with children aged 6 months and older. I am trauma-informed, neurodiversity-informed, and first aid competent. I’m happy to assist with housekeeping, homework, pet care, and meals in addition to babysitting. I fully understand that you as a parent are the expert on your child. I have no intention or desire to impose or judge what works for your family. My personal philosophy around childcare is gentle, responsive, playful, and grounded in five main principles— empathy, respect, guidance, understanding, and boundaries.
