Hello, my name is Sarah and I am currently a nursing student at the University of Toronto. Beyond experience I've gained working as a nursing student on a pediatric unit, I've worked as a children's hospice volunteer for the past 4 years. Here, I was able to mature my communication techniques as I was working with children of different ages and abilities. I spent this past summer working as a day care worker, which was a great experience that taught me a lot about working with school-aged children. I learned different forms of educational play, and developed my conflict resolution skills.
