Hello there, my name is Maria! Currently, I am an accelerated BSN student at the University of Missouri-Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing and I also have degrees in Political Science and Russian. I am trained and certified in basic life support and have interest in working in pediatrics or the NICU. I have taken care of children my whole life, either formally or informally for family members and love kiddos of all ages! When taking care of children, I like to focus on activities other than being sedentary and watching tv--I like to cook, do arts and crafts, play interactive games, read, stay active, and teach the kids new skills they can use later on in life. In addition to taking care of the kids, I would love to also take care of the home by doing any cooking, cleaning, or running errands.
