I have been working with children in many settings for the past 20 plus years. I was a nanny for a family for 3 years about 15 years ago while I was a full time college student and it was a job I loved doing. In fact I am still very close with this family and see them usually a couple times a month. After I graduated from college I pursued a career as an Education Director of a Preschool for close to 10 years. My main focus was developing curriculum to meet the needs of children from six weeks to five, to work with families and children with everything from emotional, physical or behavioral difficulties. I often worked in the classroom with the teachers and students and this by far was the part I loved best of my job. I realized that I missed working more directly with the kids and I will be pursuing a masters degree in School Psychology. I love working with kids in their homes so being a nanny felt like the perfect fit. I am kind, patient and nurturing and bond very easily with children. I have a resume and many references available.
