Hi. My name is Shasa I’m a very caring individual that loves caring for kids. I believe that all children are special and unique individuals who deserve to be treated with love and respect. I first got into the childcare field when I was 12 years old by helping my aunt take care of her four children. It was then that I knew I had an inner talent for caring for children. At nineteen, I decided to chose childcare as a career. I have eight years experience in working with children from ages zero to seven years. I have held positions as a Teacher's Aid, Teacher's Assistant, Nursery School Teacher, babysitter, and Onsite Nanny. General activities I've preformed include: potty training, physical and mental play activities, bottle preparation, food preparation, social and cognitive skill training. I also have experience preparing food for and feeding children with special feeding needs, such as via gastronomy tube. Key responsibilities I've held include maintaining schedules for children and facilitating a healthy learning curriculum. I take pride in my work, and that translates into a very strong work ethic. I am also a naturally fun-loving person who understands when there is a time for play and a time for seriousness. Entertaining children comes very easy for me. I am a health-conscious and appreciate a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise and good eating habits.
