Hello, My name is Madison Diaz and I am a Freshman Diplomacy/Modern Language student at Seton Hall University. I am a confident public speaker, a punctual trust-worthy employee, and an effective problem solver. Highlights of my skills and achievements include: • Working with Agent Anything Inc. I have constructed and organized multiple Excel Spreadsheets (1000 ) with contact information for different college sports teams, acting companies, schools, etc. These excel sheets were due every 4 days so it taught me to finish large assignments in a short period of time. • Volunteering fall semester has given me a chance to work with others, as I managed café at JESPY house, a house for special needs adults and children, scheduling different games and activities for the residents while they waited. We were not given a detailed schedule so it helped me strengthen my creative skills. Working with clients allowed for me to get more customer service experience and hone my professional demeanor. • Through my time in not only High School but also College, I have gained strong communication skills. For example, I conducted and ran meetings for the NSSHS as their Vice President, working to promote and implement the get out the vote initiative for the town. As Vice President of NSSHS I had to talk to the rest of the honor society and with other societies and groups, we were working with. • Being in a leadership position in many clubs and organizations, I have become very articulate and communitive in everyday social situations. I am confident that I can offer you the customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills you are seeking. Using these skills, I have also worked as a babysitter for friends and family for 8 years. I have experience working with children from 3-12 years old and have also worked with children and adults with special needs and disabilities. Some of my special skills include: - I have been a singer since high school and am a part of my college’s acapella group, the Seton Notes, where I take a leadership role as well. I also have played the saxophone for 8 years and I can read and teach music skills. - I have worked as a tutor as well. I was a part of a program in which we would hold tutoring sessions in the local church for children from 1st grade all the way up to 11th grade. I was in charge of working with children from 3rd to 5th grade on Math and English skills.
