My name is Haley or as my dad called me growing up, Mini Mom, and I am 21 years old. From a young age, I have babysat for family members, parents coworkers, worked in a church daycare, took a child development class in high school in which you worked every other day at a YMCA across the street, and recently have nannied for several families from care...... My family used to have to warn everyone to get their time in with the kids before I arrived because when I did, they wouldn't see the kids for the remainder of the night. My nanny style is very nurturing, loving, outgoing, engaging, and respectful. I find the best way to gain respect and rationalize with children is to get down on their level, talk to them as an adult, and explain why certain behaviors or actions aren't okay in a calm yet stern voice. Although I love being a couch potato and watching movie marathons, I loving adventuring outdoors on walks, going to the park, swimming, bike rides, making mud pies (of course making sure to clean them up before you get home) and even making up our own imaginary games. Pets are a bonus when I am nannying because not only do I love kids, but animals are my absolute soft spot. I have a very flexible schedule and am eager to work immediately or in the very near future. I look forward to meeting your family!
