In 2016, as a counselor in training at The Manhattan Downtown Day Camp I was responsible for the supervision of 16 campers. My daily responsibilities included ensuring a smooth transition for the campers during pick-ups and drop-offs along the bus route, transporting the campers from one activity to another, assisting teachers during lessons, and being supportive to the campers to engage in each activity. This year, I have moved up to the second level of a counselor in training at The Manhattan Downtown Day Camp and I am responsible for the supervision of about 30 campers. My daily responsibilities include ensuring a smooth dismissal and pick-up routine, transporting the campers from one activity to another, assisting teachers during lessons, and being supportive to the campers to engage in each activity.
