Hi! My name is Noemi and I'm 32 years old. Even though my native language is Spanish, I'm fluent in both English in Spanish. I have studied an Audiovisual Systems Engineering Bachelor in Spain and a Digital Video Certificate in San Diego. I also took some Business Administration classes at National University and just graduated on Digital Media Technology - video production at Valencia College, Orlando. I have also studied music in a conservatory since I was 7 years old (oboe and piano) and I consider it one of my passions, as well as sports. I did rhythmic gymnastics until I was 16 years old and after that I was always involved in the gym, dance classes, etc. I like being active and creative and keep learning and growing constantly. About my experience with kids as a nanny. Since I was little I took care of my nephews (4 boys!). Once I started going to the University I started working as babysitter during the weekend to help with my studies tuition. I am more comfortable with kids that are from newborns until 3 years old since that is my main experience but I've also taken care of older kids, from 4 to 7 years old. On 2019, I took care of twins (boy and girl) since they were born. I usually took care of them during the weekends but also some evenings and date nights. They had a 4-year-old brother who was a very active kid and with who I had to be very creative since he didn’t like to play with the same activity for more than 10 minutes. During the entire pandemic lockdown, for 2.5 years, I was a live in nanny in a house with three kids. When I arrived the twins (2 girls) were newborns (3 weeks old) and their older sister was 2 years old. My responsibilities included feeding them, preparing bottles and cleaning them well (sterilizing them), changing diapers, potty-training, playing with them and creating new activities to help them achieve their milestones, making sure toys were clean and also that no small toys were around, taking them for walks, bath them, etc. As for cooking, everything has been home cooked. I also did housekeeping like laundry, cleaning and organizing, dishes, cooking, etc. After that, I worked for a year with a family in San Diego with 2 kids, 3 year old girl and her 8 month younger brother. I used to drive the girl to school in the mornings while playing with the baby, and then I used to go to the park with both on the afternoons/evenings, as well as doing some housekeeping work. My latest experience has been in Orlando. I worked with a girl for almost a year (she was 3 months when I arrived) repeating all the activities and tasks previously mentioned. In my latest family, I also helped with their dogs (3). I consider myself very organized, patient, hard-working, with great ability to multitask and great adaptability. It takes me about a week to get used to a new place, but once I know what I have to do and how you want it do be done (everyone has their own ways of living, educating, organizing, cleaning, schedules, etc.), I adapt my skills to what you need. Also, I am very flexible with schedules and I don't mind at all waking up very early or staying late after my schedule finishes. With little ones, you can be organized, but you also need to be very flexible right? I would be totally open to a live in situation as well as live out. And if you are ok with it, I really enjoy teaching kids both English and Spanish through songs and games! I can provide multiple references from all the experiences previously mentioned.
