Sitter in Windsor, Ontario

I am a sister to 4 siblings, 3 younger. I also have 12 aunts and uncles and being one of the older more responsible cousins, I always took the duties of caring for the younger children. I fell in love with caring for children. I started babysitting at 14 and got a job as a camp counselor at the age of 16. I worked at Gesstwood retreat and Camp Center 2 summers in a row caring for children in groups of 6-8 Sundays-Fridays. I had the responsibilities of ensuring eating, bathing, hydrating, and well being of these children for a week at a time. The next year I started planning activities and became Theatre Coordinator. I also spent some days working in the kitchen. I must say though during that second summer, I missed being able to just hang out and do the activities with the children and youth. I obtained my OSSD from Walkerville Collegiate Institute. I also obtained my SHSM (Specialist High Skills Major) in Arts and Culture and studied theatre all four years through WCCA (Walkerville Center for The Creative Arts). I was certified in CPR and First Aid in February 2018 and am licenced until February 2020.
