My career in Social Service Work has been put on pause since relocating back to Ontario and I am eager to find a family to provide P/T childcare for. As well as SSW, I have background in studio arts. I think this makes me a patient, empathetic and creative child care provider! I'm a fun, warm and loving care taker with a passion for learning, community and the outdoors. I love spending time with little ones, having exploratory adventures as well as having downtime to think, play and read. I'm looking for an opportunity to continue my ongoing career in childcare, while working toward my long term goal of merging creativity and youth work. Alongside my extensive experience in childcare, I have had experience working at an extended day program at an elementary school in Montreal, working as a children's librarian at a public library, had a number of child and youth outreach roles and extensive volunteering in my communities Youth Centre as well as the Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation.
