My name is Tatiana Morris. I am a college graduate, and I have been working in childcare for over twelve years. I grew up in the Caribbean island of Jamaica and have been living in New York for almost ten years. I am passionate about working with children and having two children of my own, gave me extensive knowledge beyond books. In addition, I am certified in CPR and first aid, as well as, nutrition, health and safety procedures. I am very enthusiastic, fun-loving and I enjoy the outdoors. Over the years I have enjoyed passing on my knowledge to the children that I worked with. There is no greater feeling than seeing a child grow up before your eyes. ​I have worked with individual families and as well as in group settings. At my recent position, I was promoted to head teacher and supervisor. I have taught students from ages one through twelve. I also took care of children as young as six weeks old. I have worked with children with speech delay and other disabilities. I have done extensive potty trainings and sleep trainings. Also, I assist children during mealtimes, monitored their play and ensure their physical safety at all times. I provide tutoring for children, as well as, educational activities, recreational trips including off-site trips to museums, play schools, and cinemas. I have significant experience in developing educational syllabus, and creating nutritious menus. I am ready to assume all potential house manager activities! ​Working extensively with children over the years, I can easily support coursework, as well as, provide a framework for greater organization and self-management. Beyond my educational background, I have experience with helping parents applying and navigating through New York City public school system. I also help students get ready for various examinations that they do such as English Language Arts (ELA). My schedule is flexible and I would be delighted to work with your family.
