Hi! My name is Ajaika. I have four years of childcare experience spanning ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age; two as an infant caregiver and two as a preschool teacher. During this time, I have developed activities and exercises to increase the emotional, mental, and physical developmental progress for a variety of children, some of which have had physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. I also have assisted a number of parents with food scheduling, sleep training, and concerns about infant overall care when home with parents. I have early childhood development certifications, as well as CPR and First Aid training. It is my belief childcare providers are to give encouragement and love, while also enhancing the child(ren)'s physical, mental, and emotional development through tasks designed specifically for the child. Because of my style of care and teaching, I have remained in contact with nearly all of the students and infants I have cared for (with an exception of two that are military and moved overseas). I am proud of my ability to connect with parents and create a developmental plan that is beneficial for their child(ren). I am creative, and can provide pictures of activities I have created for infants, preschoolers, and school age children from the past four years. I have realiable transportation and a perfect driving record, no tickets or accidents. I am looking forward to learning more about this opportunity!
