Hello my name's Darlene. I was born and raised in Winnipeg and attended Red River Community College at age 18 from 1977 to 1979 for a Diploma in Nursing for which I received a 3.1 Grade Point Average. I was employed as a Graduate Nurse at the Health Science Centre on A-4 a General Medical Unit. At the same time I was also employed as a nurse at a Mini-School, mostly taking temperatures and changing diapers. I was also employed in domestic house cleaning for a maid cleaning company in Calgary, Alberta. I have 3 years work experience in domestic caregiving for a 33 year old female who required total care after suffering a stroke (CVA), a cardiovascular accident. I am seeking permanent part-time employment. I reside in St. Boniface, enjoy crafts and gourmet cooking and practice yoga.
