Sitter in Ajax, Ontario

I am so excited to have this wonderful opportunity to provide my ECE experience, knowledge and support with you busy, busy moms and dads out there. My name is Melissa, but you may call me Mel. I have worked for approximately 6 years in both private daycare settings, as well as in the public school system as both an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and Early Childhood Assistant (ECA). I am also a busy mother myself, who completely understands how hectic, and at times stressful it can be balancing work-life, home and social affairs all while remaining sane! Having had the opportunity to work as both ECE and ECA has provided me with in depth knowledge and experience in being a caregiver and reliable support system within an inclusive childcare program; where I can encourage, nurture and educate children from all age groups and socioeconomic backgrounds. I completed my ECE studies in 2006 from Humber College in Toronto, Ontario where I graduated with honors and was quickly employed shortly thereafter as preschool/toddler and school age teacher! At present I am looking for a full-time ongoing live-out nanny position. I prefer the Ajax area, however I can travel to Toronto for the right family!. I am also open to working in a traditional day care setting, age group does not matter.
