As a former stay-at-home mom watching both my own and neighborhood children, now with grandchildren of my own, as well as professional experience caring for the elderly and disabled, I am well-versed in varying levels of care. Beyond general care, I am happy to help with light housework, laundry, cooking, and engaging in fun/educational crafts and activities. As a grandmother to an active toddler and newborn, I have learned (and continually am) learning about today's methods of parenting and up-to-date recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Beyond this, I am more than willing to follow all provided guidelines and ideals when it comes to caring for your children. I am punctual, reliable and attentive. I also have first aid training and am CPR/AED certified. I fully understand the trust involved in choosing a caregiver and am looking forward to building that trust with your family. My availability is quite open in the afternoons through evenings during the week and fully open on Saturday & Sunday.
