Hello awesome families of Chilliwack! My name is Bree and I have just finished school to become a registered massage therapist. I am currently waiting to finish writing my registration exams (done by September 28th) and am looking to return to working as a nanny while I’m awaiting my exam results! I can start working as soon as October 1st but if I pass my exams then I would have to leave you by November. However, if I fail one of my 4 exams, I will have to wait 6 months before I can retake them. This means I could be with you for up to 6 months. We can talk about all the options more in detail later. Anyway, here is some back story on me! I took my first babysitting course in 2012 and haven't stopped caring for children since then! In 2017 I advanced my first aid knowledge and obtained a CPR-C certificate and later obtained a CPR-HCP certificate. I quite enjoy healthcare/first aid so in 2018 I went to JIBC for the emergency medical responder program. Around the same time I began working towards certification as birth and postpartum doula. I have now attended 3 births and have approximately 30 hours of newborn care and breastfeeding assistance. I absolutely adore caring for newborns and babies but I have experience with children of all ages. I have also mentored young teens through Big Brothers, Big Sisters and supported children ages 4-14 in grief groups with the Hospice Society.
