Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I am searching for a childcare position for the remainder of summer, and/or a position starting in the fall! I am 21 years old, currently halfway through the Early Childhood program at CVTC, and am hoping to be a kindergarten teacher after graduating. I have had numerous childcare positions including babysitting, nannying, caregiving, etc - of all ages! I have been hired by 6 families through a certified care website, and have worked for each family for an extended period of time. I recently cared for an adorable 10 month old baby boy full time, whom I had cared for since before he was two months old. Caring for him and being a part of helping him reach important milestones has given me such a sense of achievement and happiness, which is part of why I continue to look for childcare positions! Aside from this position, I have been a childcare provider to several other families, with children ranging in age from 2mo-10years old. Currently, I occasionally care for two boys, ages 4 and 7. However, their needs have changed and my care will no longer be needed. I have also been responsible for running errands, pick-ups and drop-offs, light meal prep and light housekeeping - so nothing is too much for me to handle! I can provide references for any of the families if you would like them! In addition, I have completed two practicums (internships) at two childcare centers in the Eau Claire area, placed with both 2 year olds and infants (including newborns!). In addition to these two placements, I have also received certifications and training in awareness and prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect, Shaken Baby Syndrome, and SIDS.
